Umaga Loses Intercontinental Championship To Fan

Monday, April 16th, 2007

New Intercontinental championTonight on Monday Night Raw live from Italy, Vince McMahon kicked off the show by asking Umaga to come to the ring. He then showed how Umaga, Shane McMahon, and himself beat up Bobby Lashley last week on Raw and began to say how Bobby Lashley did not make the trip to Italy. He then offered any wrestling superstar to come down to the ring to face Umaga. Nobody responded. Mr. McMahon then offered the fans an open invitation to take on Umaga for the Intercontinental Championship Belt. Vince picked a fan the front row of the crowd. Santino Marella, the fan in which Mr. McMahon picked immediately began hitting Umaga to everyones surprise. Mr. McMahon then stopped the match and stated the match is now a non disqualification match. Umaga immediately went on the attack and before long was dominating his opponent. All of a sudden, Bobby Lashley rushed to the ring and cleaned house. He hit Umaga over the head 3 times with a chair making Umaga wobbly on his feet. He then ran against the ropes to hit him with a spear. Lashley grabbed Marella, and placed him on top of Umaga for the pin. Since the match was a no disqualification match, Santino Marella is the new Intercontinental Champion.
