Undertaker And Batista Pick Up Victory Over Mr. Kennedy and Finlay
Friday, April 13th, 2007
On a night when The Undertaker and Batista found out they would be facing each other in a Wrestlemania 23 rematch for the Heavyweight Championship Title, the two would have to compete together in a tag team match against Mr. Kennedy and Finlay. Originally, Mr. Kennedy and Finlay were suppose to compete earlier in the broadcast however Mr. Kennedy apologized to Finlay for attacking Hornswoggle. Last week, Finlay attacked Mr. Kennedy after his match up from behind. Finlay accepted Mr. Kennedy’s apology, and Mr. Kennedy said it was his fault and took full responsibility for his actions and deserved the attack from Finlay last week. Theodore Long then came out and told the two superstars that since they were not wrestling each other tonight, they would have to face Batista and The Undertaker. Before the match got underway, Batista and The Undertaker stared each other down. The Undertaker started the match off dominating both Finlay and Mr. Kennedy. With every move, he would glance to Batista to show him that would be him at Backlash. When Batista entered the ring, he did the same to The Undertaker. Both wrestlers tried to out do each other. Finlay and Mr. Kennedy seem to be on the same page throughout the match, double teaming at times. The end result was Batista putting Mr. Kennedy in the Batista Bomb ending in a victory for Batista and The Undertaker. Friday Night Smackdown went off the air with a stare down between The Undertaker and Batista.

Tonight on the last TNA Impact before Lockdown, Jeff Jarrett made an appearence. After the night kicked off with Sting, Samoa Joe, and Rhino questioning their leader Kurt Angle who their 5th team member would be against Christian Cage, Scott Steiner, Tomko, Abyss, and AJ Styles at Lockdown, Angle told his team to be patient and they would find out at the end of Impact. Patience paid off because in the main event of the evening between Samoa Joe vs AJ Styles, all 9 team members between the 2 competitors were ringside and battling it out. Soon, out from the curtain came Jeff Jarrett with his guitar to the ring which stood Styles and Joe. He looked at Samoa Joe and turned around and hit AJ styles over the head with the guitar which led Samoa Joe to the victory. He then held his hand up to Samoa Joe showing his 5 fingers saying he is the 5th member of the team. TNA Lockdown this Sunday on Pay Per View should be good.
