After an extreme match at Wrestlemania 23 between the ECW New Breed and the ECW Originals, the Originals pulled out the victory. The ECW New Breed consists of Elijah Burke, Kevin Thorn, Matt Striker, and the Alpha Male. The ECW Originals consist of Tommy Dreamer, Sabu, Rob Van Dam, and The Sandman. Two days after the biggest sporting event of the year, the New Breed got their revenge on the Originals in an extreme rules rematch. Before the match got underway, Matt Striker and The Alpha Male confronted CM Punk and tried to persuade him into joining the New Breed. CM Punk was told to watch the New Breed dominate The Originals. The match got underway and all 8 superstars were in the ring battling it out with chairs, tables, stop signs and anything else they could get their hands on. Overall, it was a high impact match with the end resulting in Kevin Thorn driving Sabu into a table head first to pick up the victory. This Tuesday night should be interesting to see what CM Punk will have to say to the New Breed and if the Originals demand their rematch.
